This property is a dream! Stunning, spacious, well-equipped, brand new, perfect location. The hosts are absolutely lovely and hospitable. João & Ricardo were super responsive and helpful to any questions we had, throughout the entirety of our stay. There is a lot of love in the little details. We would have loved to stay forever. The beautiful expansive outdoor patio was a highlight! We had not found anything that caught our eye when looking for a place to stay, but this Airbnb stood out. When we arrived, it instantly felt like our home away from home. As the first guests here, we are so happy we gave it a chance. We were so impressed. There is a space for any mood you are in. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, morning yoga, working out, and late-night wine on the patio. Everything was exactly as pictured. Easily the best Airbnb we have ever stayed. My girlfriend and I will be delighted to return.

“An absolutely stunning apartment/space. I’ve stayed in 30+ Airbnb apartments around the world, and this is the most impressive, and my favourite. I was fortunate enough to stay here for a week, and I genuinely did not want to leave. Beautifully appointed and furnished (an incredibly comfortable bed!), in a great area of Funchal. Lots of bars/restaurants/grocery stores nearby, but the apartment itself is very peaceful. The terrace is huge, and a great place for morning coffee or an evening drink (or a day of sunbathing on very comfortable loungers…). Had a great check-in with João’s father, Ricardo, who is charm personified. Took the time to explain everything, including the local area. Fantastic recommendations. I hope to return to this apartment, but fear it will be completely booked up…recommended unconditionally.”

“This was by far the best place we’ve stayed at here in Portugal. João and his father, Ricardo, were so incredibly kind and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make our family have everything we need and to feel right at home. When we arrived, Ricardo had met us in front of the building and gave us a detailed tour of the place, showing us the garage (where to park), beach/pool access, nearby supermarkets, etc. And he gave us a great list of restaurants to try out. He was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was clean and beautiful. The terrace was something my family and I enjoyed thoroughly. The location was perfect as Old Town was just a 10-15 min walk from the apartment. And there’s plenty of restaurants and stores nearby the apartment too. Overall, we had a splendid time here and absolutely recommend this place :)”

“My family and I were blown away by the beauty of this top floor apartment. The top deck has everything you need from lounge chairs, dining table, a small comfortable couch, and best of all a beautiful view of the ocean. The home was stylish and spotless when we arrived and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. João and Ricardo immediately responded whenever I had questions about our reservation. They also went above and beyond to give recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and the best beaches in the area. The apartment is on a street full of restaurants, and it’s about a 25 min walk to the “old town” of Funchal where the majority of the bars are. I highly recommend this apartment and can’t wait to hopefully stay here again in the future. Obrigado João e Ricardo!”
